NSMQ Participants enlightened on competence and networking

Mr Julius Amegadzie, IT Lecturer at Academic City College has enlightened students on competence and networking. He made this known at a Mentorship Session on July 5, 2019 at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium, Legon.

According to him, adapting to the change in the Fourth Industrial Revolution will require consistency, and constant learning. He went on to say that “Change is coming, and to be able to survive this change, you will need to have skills, critical thinking and learning”. The Fourth Industrial Revolution represents a fundamental change and a new chapter in human development, enabled by extraordinary technology advancement to correspond with the first, second and third industrial revolutions.

He added that although technology can make one lazy, thus, there is the need for hard work in order to achieve dreams.

Mr Amegadzie further added that students should not only be educated, but should also be confident and disciplined to make informed decisions towards their goals.

He ended the session with a quote from Steve Jobs: “Stay Hungry; Stay Foolish”, and advised the students to learn to survive by learning to adapt to change.
