The Ashanti Regional Competition of the National Science & Maths Quiz 2017 has ended in Kumasi after five days of competition which saw 19 schools qualify for the National competition.
The competition which was held from Monday, February 6- Friday, February 10, 2017 at Opoku Ware School saw 59 Senior High Schools from the Ashanti Region in fierce intellectual battles for 19 slots at the National level.
At the end of the five-day competition, the following schools booked their places at the National competition slated for June 2017 and received a cash prize of GHS 1,000:

- Kumasi Academy
The National Science & Maths Quiz, a quiz programme aimed at promoting the study of mathematics and the sciences at the Senior High School level, is sponsored by the Ghana Education Service through the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools and produced by Primetime. It airs on GTV on Wednesdays at 4pm and on Saturdays at 11am.
