Mfantsipim School, two-time NSMQ champions have progressed to the semifinal of the 2017 National Science & Maths Quiz after beating Anlo SHS and Aggrey Memorial SHS in the sixth quarter-final contest.
Mfantsipim won the contest by a 25 point-margin ahead of their closest competitor, Aggrey Memorial SHS.
Mfantsipim School scored a total of 54 points with Aggrey Memorial SHS and Anlo SHS finishing the competition with 29 and 26 points respectively.
They will face rivals Prempeh College, three-time winners and Mawuli School in the second semifinal contest on June 26. Mfantsipim School and Prempeh College last clashed in the National Science & Maths Quiz in the 2016 edition at the quarterfinal stage, with Mfantsipim winning that contest.
