Prempeh College, three-time NSMQ champions, crushed 2012 NSMQ winners, GSTS and debutants, Aduman SHS in the fourth quarterfinal contest to qualify for the semi-final of the 2017 National Science & Maths Quiz.
The 1994, 1996 and 2015 winners put up a masterful performance to end the competition with 82 points, the highest scores this year, whilst GSTS and Aduman SHS only managed to pull 39 and 31 points respectively.
The margin of points between Prempeh College and the other schools were huge; making it nearly impossible for the losing institutions to stage a comeback.
They will meet Mawuli School and the victors of the sixth quarter-final contests in the second semi-final contest on Monday, June 26, 2017.

Ongoing is the contest involving Mfantsipim School, Anlo SHS and Aggrey Memorial SHS. The winner will progress to the semis.
The 2017 edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz is sponsored by the Ghana Education Service through the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) and supported by Tigo, GOIL, Prudential Life Insurance, Accra College of Medicine and GCB Bank.
