First day of 2nd edition of Sci-Tech Fair in Pictures

Sci-Tech Fair 2018 Opens with over 35 Exhibitors

Over 35 exhibitors largely drawn from Junior and Senior High Schools have showcased their projects at the first day of the Sci-Tech fair put together by Primetime Limited, organiser of the 2018 National Science & Maths Quiz and Science Festival.

The two-day Sci-Tech Fair is sponsored by GOIL, Prudential Life Insurance Ghana and Tullow Ghana Limited.

Below are some of the projects of the participants on display:

Hydroelectric Power Plant by St. Kizito RC Junior High School
Water level Indicator built by students from WA Senior High School
Miniature pesticide helicopter invented by Salifu Mohammed, Med the Innovator
Students from PRESEC-legon showcase a miniature Jet Engine
Apam SHS displaying Robots at the Sci-Tech fair

 

Mfantsipim school students showcase Robots, Smart Blind Stick & demonstrate an experiment on Pressure

 

Students of Sekyedumase SHS display a device that transfers energy
Students of St. Monica’s SHS with decorative bulb made from plastic bottles
Tullow Oil Ghana with a model of FPSO on display with some students viewing
Students of Dept of Chemistry, University of Ghana with their project on display
A greenhouse automation system designed by students of St. Thomas Aquinas SHS
