Old boys of Prempeh College on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, made a donation to the students and teachers representing their alma mater at the 2018 National Science & Maths Quiz and Science Festival ongoing at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Among the items presented were soft drinks, biscuits, boxes of mineral water and undisclosed amount of money.
A statement signed by the Academic Executive Committee of Amanfoo National Executives and sighted by nsmq.com.gh said their presentation was to boost their morale in retaining the trophy for the school after successfully winning it for the fourth time last year.
The Amanfoo old boys were represented by the Seniors Fredrick Agyemang and Senior Kwabena Kessie.
Receiving the items on behalf of the team, Mr. P.K Damoah, Coordinator of Prempeh College’s NSMQ2018 contingent thanked the Old Boys for their unflinching support and pledged the team’s commitment to do their best in bringing glory to their alma mater.

Prempeh College will begin their NSMQ2018 campaign after the one-eighth stage balloting on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
The team looks forward to winning the trophy for the fifth time after claiming the bragging rights in 1994, 1996, 2015 and most recently in 2017.

The National Science & Maths Quiz and Science Festival is sponsored by the Ghana Education Service through the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS), with support from GCB Bank, GTP, Lancaster University Ghana, Academic City College, Medifem Multi-Specialist Hospital, Accra College of Medicine, Hawtie Makeup, West African Centre for Cell Biology for Infectious Pathogens and Awake Purified Drinking water. The Sci-Tech Fair is sponsored by Goil, Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, and Tullow, while Bond Savings & Loans and RMG Ghana Ltd are sponsoring the Mentorship Sessions.
