The final leg of the NSMQ Northern Zone Preliminary Stage ends in a lacklustre performance by Tamale Girls’ SHS and Sandema SHTS who returned to the stage to compete against Northern School of Business.
As the two top-runners up; Sandema SHTS and Tamale Girls’ SHS got a second chance to vindicate themselves in Contest 6, however, they surrendered to Northern School of Business in the last fixture.

The competition came across as sombre in the second and third rounds when Tamale Girls’ SHS had a bad patch by accruing minus three points at the end. They recovered by answering two correctly in round five, nonetheless, that was not enough to win the GOIL Riddle Bonanza worth GHC800.
None of the contestants came close to winning the Prudential Life NSMQ Star worth GHC 2000 in round three.
Northern School of Business qualified to the One-Eighth Stage of the Championship with 26 points beating Sandema SHTS and Tamale SHS.
