St. Monica’s SHS has picked the penultimate slot from the Ashanti Region in the ongoing 2020 National Science & Maths Quiz. The fifth contest in the region was keenly contested between Armed Forces SHTS, St Monica’s SHS and Simms SHS.

Armed Forces SHTS was able to topple St. Monica’s SHS in round two leading with 26 points as Simms SHS maintained their points from the previous round.
All three schools made a substitution after round three.
Unfortunately, none of the contestants had a perfect score of 10 from solving the Problem of the Day in round three forfeiting the Prudential Life NSMQ Star worth GHC 2000 sponsored by Prudential Life Insurance.

St. Monica’s SHS swapped places with Armed Forces SHTS in round four to dominate the contest once again.
At the end of round five St. Monica’s SHS qualified to the One-eighth stage with 38 points. None of the contestants won the GOIL Riddle Bonanza worth GHC800 in round five.
