The five-time champions, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, have proved their mettle to proceed to the Semifinal Stage of the 2020 edition of the NSMQ. They faced off Ghana National College and Koforidua Secondary Technical School in the last Quarterfinal contest in this year’s competition.
The first round ended with Ghana National College leading the contest with a two-point margin. However, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School gained control of the contest by the third round and led the group with 32 points. Ghana National College followed closely with 29 points, with Koforidua Secondary Technical School coming in third with 26 points.

The Problem of the Day seemed like a tough one for all the three schools, as none of them could score more than a point.
The “blue magicians” maintained their lead in the competition till the end of the contest, where they scored 51 points to win the AirtelTigo Highest Scorer of the Day award, worth GH₵3000.00 at the Quarterfinal Stage.
