NSMQ2021: St. John’s School progresses to One-eighth stage

St. John's School is the first school to progress to the One-eighth Stage of the competition from the Western Zone this year.

St. John’s School in the Western Zone has made it to the One-eighth stage of the 2021 National Science & Maths Quiz Championship. They emerged winners after beating Ahantaman Girls’ SHS and Fijai SHS, all in the Western Region of Ghana after a dominating win in all rounds of the contest.

Here is a breakdown of the scores

Round One – General questions on Chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics
St. John’s School: 07pts
Ahantaman Girls’ SHS: 04pts
Fijai SHS: 0pts



Round Two – The Speed race
St. John’s School: 18pts
Ahantaman Girls’ SHS: 03pts
Fijai SHS: -1pt

Round Three – Problem of the Day
St. John’s School: 20pts
Ahantaman Girls’ SHS: 3pts
Fijai SHS: -1pt

Round Four – True or False
St. John’s School: 24pts
Ahantaman Girls’ SHS: 07pts
Fijai SHS: 06pts

Round Five – Riddles
St. John’s School: 27pts
Ahantaman Girls’ SHS: 10pts
Fijai SHS: 06pts
