Assin State College in the Central Region has booked a place at the next stage of the National Science & Maths Quiz championship. The lads didn’t say die even after placing second all through to the fourth round of the contest.
They indeed gave meaning to the saying “last minutes are dangerous” when they toppled University Practice SHS, who appeared to be in a comfortable lead throughout the four rounds of the contest, to the first position with 36 points. Their closest contenders, University Practice SHS scored 32 points with Eguafo Abrem SHS and Nsaba Presby SHS scoring 25 and 23 points respectively.
