Nine schools in Bono, Ahafo and Bono East regions will today [Monday, November 1, 2021] battle it out for a position in the One-Eighth stage in the preliminary contest in the Northern Zone of this year’s National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
Northern Sector
In the first contest of the preliminary contest, Nkoranza SHTS will face Kintampo SHS and Bomaa SHS.
The second preliminary contest will feature
Techiman SHS, OLA Girls’ SHS, Kenyasi, and Acherensua SHS.
St. James Seminary SHS, Berekum SHS, and Samuel Otu Presby SHS will come face-to-face in the third preliminary contest for today.

Southern Sector
Also in the Southern sector, we continue with contests in the Eastern Region, where Ofori Panin SHS will face Ghana SHS and Saviour SHS in the first prelims contest.
The second contest will feature Okuapeman School, Manya Krobo SHS and Nkwatia Presby SHS.
Mpraeso SHS, Abuakwa SHS, and W.B.M Zion SHS will close the preliminary contest for the Southern sector today.
In all, six schools, three from each zone, are expected to progress to the One-Eighth stage after today’s contest.
