NSMQ 2024: A Stunning Debut for Kofi Adjei SHTS as They Outshine Kade SHTS and Damango SHS!

Auditorium 900—October 15, 2024


The second day of the 2024 edition of the National Championship of the NSMQ witnessed an exciting second contest in Auditorium 900, featuring Kofi Adjei Senior High Technical School, Kade Senior High Technical School, and Damongo Senior High School. In their first appearance at the National Championship, Kofi Adjei SHTS emerged victorious, securing their place in the One-eighth Stage with a total of 42 points. Kade SHTS and Damongo SHS followed, finishing with 33 and 16 points, respectively.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, as each school was greeted by loud applause when Quiz Mistress, Dr Thelma Ohene-Adjei, introduced them. Kade Senior High Technical School, returning after missing the previous year’s NSMQ competition, received the loudest cheers. Kofi Adjei Senior High Technical School, making their debut at the competition, remained calm and ready to impress. Damongo Senior High School, eager to overcome the disappointment of last year’s early exit, appeared equally prepared to change their fortunes.

Kofi Adjei Senior High Technical School excelled during the Prudential Life Speed Race, surpassing Kade Senior High Technical School with an impressive score of 23 points. Kade SHTS, keen to remain competitive, secured 17 points, while Damongo Senior High School trailed with six points.

Kade SHTS faced a disappointing return, exiting at the Preliminary Stage with a total of 33 points. Similarly, Damongo SHS, having experienced an early exit last year, found themselves in the same position this year, finishing with just 16 points.
