In a thrilling contest at the One-eighth Stage, St. John’s SHS triumphed with a score of 44 points, showcasing their strength and determination. Following closely behind was Okuapemman SHS, who finished with 43 points, demonstrating their competitive spirit. St. John's Grammar SHS also put up a commendable effort, ending the contest with 37 points.
The SGS Auditorium witnessed a fiercely contested competition moderated by Dr. Mrs. Gladys Schwinger, featuring St. John’s School, St. John's Grammar School, and Okuapemman School. The audience was nervous, with passionate supporters from all three schools creating a tense atmosphere.
In a closely fought battle, St. John’s School triumphed over Okuapemman School by a narrow margin of just one point, securing their victory. St. John's Grammar School also put forth a commendable effort, finishing the contest with a strong score, but ultimately fell short in this thrilling encounter.
Both Okuapemman School and St. John's Grammar School advanced from the Preliminary Stage after defeating St. Thomas Aquinas SHS and Accra High School, respectively.
However, their journey in the One-eighth Stage ended in disappointment, as St. John’s School, a seeded contender, displayed superior performance, knocking them out of the competition.
Despite their valiant attempts, both Okuapemman School and St. John's Grammar School were unable to advance, as St. John’s School, a seeded contender, secured their place in the Quarter-finals Stage.
